Telestep Ladder Stores and Reviews

Thank you for reading our Telestep Ladder reviews. These ladders are becoming more and more popular with professional and the home do-it-yourselfer. To help you make a choice when purchasing a new Telestep Ladder and provide you with as much information as we can on the current available models we have put together this snap-shot review page for you.

Telesteps 1205 Black 12-1/2-Foot 300-Pound Duty Rating Aluminum Telescoping Extension Ladder Black – This lightweight (23 pounds) and compact (2-1/2 feet closed) ladder fits easily in just about any spot you care to put it in. It extends in length in 1-foot increments, up to a maximum of 12-1/2 feet. The rungs have a serrated tread for safe climbing. As the ladder extends it is self locking which is a very convenient safety feature. At 12 ½ feet though, there is some flex in the aluminum frame. The ladder is rated at 250 lbs so there’s not much chance of it twisting, but this might not be for the more nervous ladder user.

Telesteps 1800W 300-Pound Duty Rating Aluminum Telescoping Extension Ladder with Wide Step, 14-1/2-Foot- This model has the same features as the 12 ½ foot model with an extra added 2 feet. There is not the same black plastic coating, but that might actually be an advantage. Aluminum actually provides a small amount more grip in wet or damp conditions. This model is standard with the same rung design as most other Telestep ladders. The weight limit is 300 lbs, but all the customer complaints we have been able to find are related to flexing at the upper heights. To be realistic, this has more to do with the way the ladder extends than anything else. Convenience has its price. Still this ladder is $150 more than its 12 ½ counterpart at $300.

Telesteps 16S Combiladder 300-Pound Duty Rating 12-1/2-Foot Stepladder and 12-1/2-Foot Extension Ladder- This ladder has the same telescoping properties of all the Telestep ladders with the added benefit of being a tepladder as well. For a stepladder to be this portable is saying something and we were a little impressed with how well it stores. Most of the customer complaints have to do with set-up and take down of the ladder with some questions being raised on how best to take it down. As with any new tool, caution is always warranted. One other nice feature of this combiladder is that it can be used on uneven surfaces such as stairs more safely than a traditional extension ladder.

Telesteps 106X Canvas Carry Bag with StrapIt- As an added bonus to help with storage Telestep sells these nice custom bags. Made from a heavy duty canvas material and able to fit the 10’-14’ models inside, these are great for storage and enable you to carry your ladder from point A to B without much issue. The straps are double stitched for durability as well. With an average cost of around $50 this might seem a bit steep for a bug, but when you consider it is custom made for Telestep ladders, that’s not a bad deal.
